Okay so there’s this guy who I’m attracted to and he’s 6 years older than me, 25 to be exact. I work with him and when I had a boyfriend he would get jealous when I was on the phone with him all the time. He calls me his girlfriend and whatever but I told him straight up that I like him and he said that he likes me too but I’m too young. I don’t know what to believe because when he said it I automatically thought that he didn’t like me but I haven’t seen him for 6 months and he talks to me almost every other day to check up on me. He tells me that I’m not allow to have sex with anyone and I’m not allowed to be with anyone and that I’m his girl. So like what do I do? Like does he like me I don’t get this guy? You tell me all this crap and then you say I’m too young. I’m actually so confused.

I think you are saying that this 25 year old man says he wants you as his girlfriend, but that you are too young for him at this time (19), but he does not want you to be with any other male while you both wait for you to get older? Ok, assuming that is correct, my suggestion is for you to decide if you are too young or not; after all, 19 is certainly above the age of consent for sexual relations in all jurisdictions as far as I am aware. So you are old enough to be sexually active with anyone you choose to be sexually active with. If he does not accept that, or if you feel you are too young, because of the 6 year age difference, then you must decide if you are willing to wait until some future time and not be involved with anyone else until then. If you choose that, then you must get specific with the older man, about when exactly you would be old enough. I can’t imagine you would want to do that, but it is your life, not mine. My suggestion is to let the older man know that you are going to be involved with other males and that you are not saving yourself for him in the meantime.
